  • One glass of buckwheat;
  • Three glasses of water;
  • Thermos or ordinary metal pan with a lid.

For starters, take the buckwheat and carefully sort it out.Remove all possible debris and pebbles. Wash the buckwheat and put it in a pan or in a thermos. Fill buckwheat with hot water. Not necessarily boiling water. Water can be about sixty to eighty degrees. Next, buckwheat should be thoroughly wrapped with a warm towel or blanket for at least four hours. And better, at eight o'clock.

How to fill buckwheat

You can pour buckwheat with plain water, as in the previous case, but you can make it even tastier by filling it with fresh kefir. Just in the evening fill buckwheat with fresh kefir from the calculation: two tablespoons of buckwheat porridge for one glass of fresh kefir. You can pre-do so several servings. Leave the porridge overnight, and in the morning it will be ready. Swell, become soft and very pleasant to the taste.

How to fry buckwheat

Now let's talk about how to cook buckwheat in a pan. Thus, it is prepared much less often, however, it turns out very tasty and unusual. Here's what you need to make this porridge:

  • One glass of buckwheat;
  • Two chicken eggs;
  • Vegetable oil;
  • A bit of butter;
  • Soy sauce optional;
  • Salt, pepper to taste.

Sort through buckwheat and rinse to clear water. Move the buckwheat to a colander and let it drain. On a low heat, heat the pan and add the vegetable oil. Pour in the same buckwheat and fry for three to five minutes. In the pan, also add one and a half cups of boiling water, cover and simmer the buckwheat for another twenty minutes.

In the meantime, take a clean pan and heat the butter in it. Beat eggs with a fork in a cup or bowl, pour them into this pan. Fry, stirring constantly, and then add them to buckwheat, mixing everything carefully. Season everything with soy sauce, if you wish, add salt, pepper. Do not forget to put a piece of butter in each of the portions.
